Happy Birthday Adelina!

Adelina Mae Sibiski turned 2 on Wednseday!!! Happy Birthday Adelina....

I can't believe she is already 2! Where does the time go???

She also had her 2 year old check up at the doctor. She is getting bigger and bigger... 26lbs 8oz... she is 32 1/2 inches tall.

Adelina talks, but she talks Adelina speak (mostly because when she talks she doesn't move her lips). Her favorite show is "Super Why" and she can name most of the capital letters if you ask her what they are. She is busy busy busy.... likes to play but doesn't like it when her sister joins in. Often you can hear Adelina yelling "No Baby!" She has been known to take whatever she's playing with to another room, just to avoid her sister.

We're working on potty training... it's slow going, but going all the same. Adelina is a girlie girl. She's particular about what she wears, likes to have her fingers painted, and LOVES shoes!!! Yet, she's not afraid to play with PowerRangers or Logan's army guys.

Olivia Update

Olivia had a doctor appointment on Thursday, December 11th at 8:20am. She is doing great!
27 inches long
17 lbs 7 oz
She is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th for height.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving out in Borrego Springs. It was a nice time of remembering that I have a lot to be thankful for...

Logan's View on Presidency

so yesterday Logan and I were talking and he asked if McCain was the new President.
And I said, "no... it's Obama"
And he said "is that the Black man?"
And I said "yes"
And he said, "He won at my school too!"

So then I asked him who he voted for at schoool
And he said "Obama"
And I asked, "Why?"
And he said because he was black and the other guy was too old!

Crawling

Olivia is officially crawling... I'd say she started this past weekend. For quite some time she has been getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth, but now she actually moves one arm and then the other and sort of scoots her cute little legs up under her =)

Where in the world did the time go? That's all I have to say =)
