This morning I was sitting with my girls in their room, we were getting ready for the day and Olivia was a bit grumpy. So, naturally, I started to sing her little song that usually works to make her stop whinning and puts a little smile on her face...
"Olivia, Olivia... you are a cranky baby. Olivia, Olivia... you are a cranky baby" (to the tune of O' Christmas Tree O' Christmas Tree).
Adelina decided to join in the singing too "Olivia, Olivia... you are a cranky baby"
When we were finish, Adelina looks at me and says "Mom, song for me?" So I sing her song too..
"Adelina, Adelina, Adelina Mae, Adelina Mae..." (to the tune of row row row your boat).
Both girls now have smiles on their faces and Adelina looks at me and says, "Mom, song for you?"
I smiled and replied, "you have to make one up for me". Adelina smiled and began singing "Moooooooommmmmmmmmyyyyyyy. You are the best mommmmmmmmmyyyyyyy!"

I've Got A Feeling....
once upon a time there was a little girl
her name was olivia
and she got into the car
with her mom and sister
to go get her brother from school
her mom started the car
and the song I've got a Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas came on the radio
but it was the tail end of the song
maybe only a few word
and then commercials came on
and little miss olivia starts singing
"tonights gonna be a good good night"
over and over and over again
then miss adelina joins in
with the whoohooo
and i have my own little serenade in the back seat :)
